I love happiness. I love joy. I love peace, kindness, goodwill toward men, looking on the bright side, giving the benefit of the doubt, trust, hope, integrity, and basically all virtues that remind me of Christmas. 😉

Sadly, we are seeing less and less of these virtues in the world today, and greater corruption and evil is more prevalent. But even with that, I still love to look for the good.
Because there IS still so much good!
My faith keeps me anchored in the knowledge that God is good, and He is stronger than evil.
Come What May, And Love It
One of the sweetest disciples of Christ I have ever known shared a beautiful talk once titled, “Come What May, and Love It”. These insightful words of wisdom–come what may, and love it– had been given to him by his mother. And as he pondered them he learned that it “meant that every life has peaks and shadows and times when it seems that the birds don’t sing and bells don’t ring. Yet in spite of discouragement and adversity, those who are happiest seem to have a way of learning from difficult times, becoming stronger, wiser, and happier as a result.”

So, my friends, as we face the troubled times that lay in front of us, I wanted to share this little reminder that we do not simply have to ‘endure’ the chaos. We can learn from it, grow from it, and eventually be a better person because of it! Come what may… and LOVE it!
I made this fun little printable to help me remember to make the most of every situation. I keep it in my kitchen so I’m constantly walking past it and being reminded that life really IS good.
Want to make one too?
To make this fun reminder, you only need two things:
- A printout of the PDF file
- and a cute 8×10 frame (I just bought a cheap frame from the dollar store and spray painted it red!)
Trim your printed quote to fit inside your frame, and that’s it! Now just place it in a place where it will uplift and remind you to look for the good. ☺️

Yes, there are hard times that we must pass through… and will continue to pass through! But when we remember that God is at the helm– and that He will triumph– it is easier to keep that smile on our faces and peace in our hearts–come what may!
